Besides creating experiences that will last a lifetime, we are committed to having a positive impact, giving back to local communities and to the environment. Each time we include Atacama in our itineraries, we make a special donation to gatoandino.org in order to help protect the endangered species Gato Andino.
The Andean cat is one of the least known felids globally, and is considered to be the most endangered species in the American continent. This species has unique characteristics because it is genetically differentiated from other small cats, and for being specialized in rocky habitats above 3.500 meters above sea level, in the Andes of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Peru.
